Guwahati: Railway Protection Force (RPF) detained a man including four women at the Kamakhya Railway Station here on Friday.

As per reports, the women were below 18 years of age and had entered Tripura through the Indo-Bangla border and travelled to Guwahati by train.

''During the initial investigation, it has come to the fore that they were taken by a person from Tripura to Guwahati. They had plans to go to New Delhi,'' TOI quoted a senior RPF official as saying.

Upon frisking them and their bags, police also recovered a few documents along with fake Aadhar cards from the possession of the women.

Reportedly, suspect a human trafficking angle in the case and have launched the probe.
